About Cloud Innovation Conference

Cloud Innovation Conference is a student-led initiative hosted at George Mason University. The Cloud Innovation Conference will provide college students and professionals with insight into today’s growing field of cloud computing. With the increase in globalization, students must understand the complexities, risks, opportunities, achievements, and the importance of cloud computing that affect their daily lives. Binary and non-binary people will immerse in the newly adopted tech culture and learn to use cloud computing tools such as AWS and more.

The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) aims to change lives by empowering the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, and development. SHPE’s vision is a world where Hispanics are highly valued and influential as the leading innovators, scientists, mathematicians, and engineers.

With over 300 members, we are open to all students (male and female), especially those majoring in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Business, or Math field. Each year, we hold numerous events ranging from resume-building workshops, professional development, company information sessions, social team building events, and sisterhood programs. Our goal is to invest in women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity
